Red Wine Brownies studded with fresh Strawberries

Red Wine Brownies studded with seasons fresh strawberries. Extremely chocolaty, fudgy and yes they have my favorite wine in it. The best ever chocolate dessert if you are in a mood for some chocolate & wine, a perfect match made in heaven.

It happened last week when I was checking my bar it was then I realized that it was time to restock on wine, went shopping for the same and picked up a few bottles of both red and white wine. On way home I got this urge for brownies and it was then I decided to add some wine to the brownies, I really had no idea how these would taste like and turn up upon baking but I wanted to bake a adult version of the brownies. Wine and chocolate are my weakness and I gave into the temptation, went ahead and baked these best ever brownies. You must have known by now that when it comes to desserts chocolate is the only thing I want.

Baking is one thing which I really enjoy but now since I have decided to eat more of healthy food I intend to keep my cakes naked and use less of butter and sugar laden frosting. More and more of  healthy baking is what I intend to do, hope I keep up to my promise.

Red Wine BrowniesRed Wine BrowniesBrownies are one of my favorite dessert I can have them any time, I just need an excuse to bake these and simply sit back and enjoy. Can you imagine I ate five of these super delicious Red Wine brownies as soon as I finished shooting them, they are so good. VK said that they one gorgeous brownies and I nailed them, wow I am so happy and satisfied.

Now about these brownies they are very chocolaty as I have both dark chocolate and cocoa powder, which the original recipe does not have and made a few changes according to my preference. They are fudge y, boozy, complete bliss is all I can say. Here I have even studded my brownies with fresh strawberries making it a total killer combination. That red wine in every bite make it more and more addictive and I bet you cannot stop at one, even my not so chocolate loving husband could stop at one. I was super convinced with the thought of having wine in the brownies but was not at all sure about the outcome and how they would taste, but as they were baking my kitchen was smelling heaven with the aroma of wine and chocolate. As far as the taste goes if I say they were too delicious would be an understatement. They were indeed the best brownies ever. The recipe has adapted from Country Living and I hope you too enjoy baking and eating them as much as we did.
