Breakfast at our house is usually Indian which VK thoroughly enjoys but today I served them Green smoothie bowl which had all eyebrows being raised giving them no other options but to drink it, to my surprise all was gone in no time, felt happy and satisfied. Very healthy and keeps you full through the entire morning. There is always as sense of that accomplishment as I k now I’ve fed my family raw veggies and fruits. Hey, and you know VK even said I’m feeling awesome inside out. This has given me a go ahead that I need to focus more on healthy eating, drink more and more of raw vegetables. I made this Strawberry Smoothie bowl few days back and it turned out super yum.
Now onto to this super healthy Green Smoothie Bowl, its creamy, thick, super healthy with loads of goodness from Spinach, Kale, bananas, kiwi. It is one smoothie which will not only make you feel healthy but you will definitely be hooked onto it. Here I’ve added avocado and peanut butter to make it real creamy. Avocados, as we know provides 20 essential nutrients including fibre, potassium, Vitamin B, E and folic acid. To give the smoothie that beautiful green color I have added spinach and a handful of Kale. In goes strawberries, kiwi, bananas, so to sum up in one word Green Smoothie bowl is a power house of nutrition. Don’t be scared to add spinach and kale as your smoothie is not going to taste
like one horrible veggie drink. Spinach as we know is an excellent source of fibre and iron while kale is a rich source of some vital vitamins A, B6, K.
So to sum it up Green Smoothie bowl is high on Vitamin A, C & K, it is gluten free, 100% vegan and that beautiful green color just brightens up the morning.
I served it in a form of Smoothie bowl to make it look beautiful. This smoothie is absolutely simple to make just requires 10 minutes and there you have a power packed breakfast. I wanted to beautiful green color which I achieved from the addition of spinach and kale to my base smoothie, bananas and strawberries give the smoothie the desired sweetness and the creaminess is achieved from the addition of peanut butter and avocado.
For the toppings I have added sliced Strawberries, Kiwis, Chia seeds, Pumpkin seeds, Melon seeds, ground Flax meal.
