Giving Fingers Are For Burning a brand new home was on my mind for quite sometime but then blog took a back seat due to some other priorities. High time I decided to migrate and give my blog  fresh new look, so I have been working day and night. A migration isn’t simple job, lost all the formatting and now have to look into each post at a time. Lots have been done but there are few still pending but I plan to finish then all soon. A few more days to go.

Anytime is good for ice cream, you agree?? It’s freezing out but then ice cream is one thing which can be enjoyed irrespective of the weather.

Okay so this gorgeous dessert happened when Naoki Matcha (Uji, Kyoto – Japan) reached out to collaborate. When I received a can of their ceremonial grade matcha I immediately know what to create out of it. This matcha simply blew me away, its way to delicious. Being a lover of green tea I simply love loved the product. This is certainly going to be my everyday tea now, its fresh, gorgeous green color and the best part the matcha powder dissolves easily. You need to certainly try out the superior grade quality matcha from Naoki Matcha, its available on Amazon so get your can now.

Now onto the ice cream, this matcha ice cream comes together in no time and is made without any fancy ice cream maker. I had this thing in my mind of using tea in my ice cream as I prefer tea over coffee any day. So the ice cream that I made here using Naoki Matcha has perfect balance of sweetness, creamy, slightly bitter and that color is just so gorgeous. So the ice cream here comes together very quickly, just chilled heavy cream, condensed milk, matcha powder and there you are done. The only time that takes here is freezing time, you whip the ice cream and leave it in the freezer overnight to enjoy the next day. There is a little secret here, I’ve added chocolate chips and that ice was delish.
